Attorney Nicole E. Gorovsky
Fighting for Survivors for almost 20 years
Fighting for crime victims has been Nicole Gorovsky's passion for her entire career. She has fought to empower people and has stood up to criminals and bullies for over 15 years. First, as a prosecutor, Nicole charged and imprisoned hundreds of criminals for their offenses. Now, as a civil attorney, Nicole continues to seek justice for those who have been harmed by filing lawsuits against criminal perpetrators and the institutions that enable and protect perpetrators.
Although civil lawsuits seek money damages, and that is necessary for the reimbursement, care and recovery that a client needs, Gorovsky Law understands that civil lawsuits are often the only way to make people, corporations, schools, churches, nursing homes, and youth-serving organizations work to protect people from the perpetrators that they employ. Nicole works hard to ensure that if a person is harmed, that person can recover, and also that the perpetrator is not able to harm again. She further stands strong against the institution that failed to protect the public so that they make changes to ensure safety for people in the future.
Nicole has participated in over 50 trials – Federal and State. She has argued in the Missouri Supreme Court, the Eight Circuit Court of Appeals, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and in each district of the Missouri Court of Appeals.
After attending the University of Michigan for her undergraduate degree, Nicole graduated from Washington University School of Law in 2001.
Nicole is married to a prosecutor and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She also enjoys reading, playing tennis, and watching her kids play sports.
